The Star of Bethlehem - The Rest of the Story

Passion Week

In the Ram
In Hebrew, Aries is called "Taleh" and means "the Lamb"

Eclipses Feast Days Similar to These
4/14/32 Passover 4/15/2014 Passover
10/7/32 Tabernacles 10/8/2014 Tabernacles
  4/3/33 Passover 4/4/2015 Passover
9/27/33 Tabernacles 9/28/2015 Tabernacles

This picture shows how God created the universe with the day of Christ's death in mind. God knew the day and the Passover context of when Jesus would die on the cross when he created and put the sun, moon, stars, and planets in place in the beginning. The date of the eclipse agreeing with other sources for the date of the crucifixion is just another example of how we can trust the Bible for what it says about creation, the way we live our lives, and our destination.

For years, only the RAPS (Eph. 6:12 Rulers, Authorities, Powers of this dark world, and Spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms) maybe knew of an eclipse like this looking from the moon to the sun with Aries the Ram as a backdrop. But now with software technology, God gives us a glimpse as well - Dan. 12:3-4 and 12:8-10.

Blood Moon Tetrads
Passover 2015 actually begins at twilight - Friday April 3rd like it did in April 33 AD.
Passover runs from evening to evening which is why the eclipses are on different days.
4/3/0033 eclipse 12:37 pm CST, 8:37 pm Israel
4/4/2015 eclipse   7:00 am CST, 3:00 pm Israel

This picture supports the 4/3/33 crucifixion date and solar eclipse (looking from the moon) above. The lunar eclipse looking from Jerusalem and falling on Passover 33 AD is one of 4 lunar eclipses that fell in a row on the Biblical feast days of Passover and Tabernacles (Lev. 23). What's interesting is that this "tetrad" of eclipses is part of a very significant pattern regarding Israel.

Passover April 15, 2014 begins another tetrad of 4 lunar eclipses falling in a row on the Biblical feast days of Passover and Tabernacles - like in 32-33 AD. You can see the visible times of the eclipses on my website at:

This picture makes the connection between the crucifixion day tetrad and this upcoming tetrad of 2014-2015. This should give a sense of urgency in reflecting on our priorities and relationship with Jesus Christ, especially when you consider other connections at:

This tetrad has been in the news a lot lately with the first eclipse beginning 4/15/2014. Rarely, do you read about the lunar triples which bracket each of the 1949-1950, 1967-1968, and the 2014-2015 tetrads. You can read about them in:
It's an amazing story.

4/3/33 AD Crucifixion
This picture gives an outline of holy passion week events, and reinforces the 4/3/33 crucifixion date. People ask me why the year is so important. What does it matter? It matters, because without the crucifixion, the events described here are somewhat meaningless coincidences. However, with the crucifixion on 4/3/33 lining up with the events described here, it gives a picture of an absolutely awesome God and the accuracy of His Bible in both past events and future. You'll have a greater understanding if you read "The Rest of the Story" on my website.

Below is a weekly accounting of the days of Passion Week pointing to a Friday crucifixion:

Saturday - 3/28/33 - Nissan 08/09 Eve. Mary "Anoints" Jesus' Feet in Lazarus' Home in Bethany

Jn 12:1 Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived at Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. 2 Here a dinner was given in Jesus' honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him. 3 Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

Sunday - 3/29/33 - Nissan 09/10 Eve.
Triumphal Entry - Lambs Selected for Slaughter on Nissan 10 (Ex. 12:3)

John 12:12 The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. Mk 11:1-2 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, 2 saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. John 12:13 They took palm branches 13 and went out to meet him, shouting, "Hosanna! " "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

Monday - 3/30/33 - Nissan 10/11 Eve.
Cursing of the Fig Tree and Clearing the Temple

Mk 11:12-15 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it. 15 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. Mk 11:19 When evening came, they went out of the city.

Tuesday - 3/31/33 - Nissan 11/12 Eve.
Withering of the Fig Tree Verified and Jesus Teaches in the Temple Courts

Mk 11:20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots.
Mk 11:27 27 They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him.

Wednesday - 4/1/33 - Nissan 12/13 Eve.
Plot to Kill Jesus Begins and Woman "Anoints" Jesus Head in Simon's Home in Bethany

MK 14:1 Now the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread were only two days away, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some sly way to arrest Jesus and kill him. 2 "But not during the Feast," they said, "or the people may riot." 3 While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.

Thursday - 4/2/33 - Nissan 13/14 Eve.
Preparation Day, Lambs Slaughtered at
Twilight, Jesus Eats Evening Passover Meal
(Lev. 23:5, Deut. 16:1-8)

Mk 14:12 On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Jesus' disciples asked him, "Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?" Mk 14:17-18 When evening came, Jesus arrived with the Twelve. 18 While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, "I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me--one who is eating with me."

Friday - 4/3/33 - Nissan 14/15 Eve.
Jesus Crucified 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM, Then Placed in a Tomb Before Sundown

Mk 15:1 1 Very early in the morning, the chief priests, with the elders, the teachers of the law and the whole Sanhedrin, reached a decision. They bound Jesus, led him away and handed him over to Pilate. Mk 15:25 It was the third hour when they crucified him Mk 15:33-34 At the sixth hour darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ""Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? ""--which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Mk 15:37 With a loud cry, Jesus breathed his last.

Mk 15:42 It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath). So as evening approached, 43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus' body. 44 Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died. 45 When he learned from the centurion that it was so, he gave the body to Joseph. 46 So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. 47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.

Saturday - 4/4/33 - Nissan 15/16 Eve.
Jesus "Rested" in the Tomb on the Sabbath, Guards Ordered to Seal the Tomb

Matt. 27:62-66 The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. 63 "Sir," they said, "we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise again.' 64 So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first." 65 "Take a guard," Pilate answered. "Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how." 66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

Sunday - 4/5/33 - Nissan 16/17 Eve.
Jesus Rose From the Dead

Mk 16:1-4 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3 and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?" 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.

Many consider this passage from Daniel to be a prophecy regarding the coming of Jesus:
daniel 9:25

Is this a dual prophecy - one about the first coming of Jesus and one about the second coming of Jesus?

Review of Points to Consider:

1) On Friday, April 3, 33 AD a solar eclipse occurred. From the vantage point of
moon looking at the sun, the earth eclipsed the sun in the constellation Aries - the Ram (a male lamb is called a ram). Jesus is our sacrificial Lamb of God.

Looking from Jerusalem, the moon went into lunar eclipse. This was one of 4 lunar eclipses all in a row where each fell on a Biblical feast day. (4/14/32 Passover, & 10/7/32 Tabernacles, 4/3/33 Passover & 9/27/33 Tabernacles).

For more on Blood Moon Tetrads and Triples, see: and

2) In the years 27 AD through 35 AD
only Nisan 14 Passover 33 AD falls on a Friday
allowing for a Friday crucifixion, a Saturday Sabbath rest, and
a Sunday first day of the week resurrection

3) According to Dan. 9:25, 7+62=69 "sevens" (see the math above) or 476 years after the 444 BC decree was issued to rebuild Jerusalem, Jesus was crucified and "cut off" in 33 AD.  Seven 7's or 49 years after Jerusalem was restored in the
6-Day war falls on The Day of Atonement 9/23/2015

Could this also be a double prophecy which also applies to our time?
